Postsecondary Budget Plan
Project Overview:
You will research and estimate the expenses of postsecondary education.
Directions:
1. Using all available resources, select a postsecondary education option you want to pursue after high school graduation.
2. Identify any barriers which you may face when continuing your education.
3. Identify the average tuition and fees associated with the education option.
4. Calculate your selected education option's average room and board cost. Be sure to specify and research what type of living situation you will have, such as dorms, apartments, rented houses or living from home.
5. Determine the average cost of books and supplies for your selected education option.
6. Locate the average transportation cost for your selected education option. Be sure to specify and research your transportation methods, such as bikes, buses and vehicles.
7. List your average personal expenses for your selected education option, such as cell phone bills, laundry, food and hobbies.
8. Based on your research, complete the questions provided below to show your plan.
9. Once completed, turn in your project according to your instructor’s directions.
