Reforestation

Activity Overview:

You will explore key species used in reforestation and learn how different trees adapt to various environmental conditions. You will identify the ideal growing requirements, common pests, and wildlife interactions for each tree.

Directions:

1.   One important management technique for forestry is being able to reforest after harvesting trees. Reforestation efforts must take into account the trees which will survive and thrive in areas where planted. Fill out the information below and color in where the tree is found to ensure you understand where to best utilize the most common trees in the United States.
