Lesson Plan
Step 1: Distribute the Action Plan and Vocabulary Handout.
· The Action Plan lays out a list of tasks for students to complete during the lesson.
· The Vocabulary Handout is a list of terms used throughout the lesson.
Step 2: Students should read individually or discuss the content as a class.
· The content provides an outline of automotive information and functions.
Step 3: Students should begin the Task Sheet.
· The task sheets allow students to implement hands-on learning to showcase automotive skills.
· Task sheets can be accessed in the Instructional Materials section and completed two ways. Students can use a printed version, which would be physically turned in upon the student’s completion of the task sheet. Additionally, students can use an interactive/fillable version, which would be downloaded by students, filled out and uploaded into the Interactive Assignments section upon the student’s completion of the task sheet.
· For task sheet naming structures, use the Task Sheet Student Handout.
Step 4: Administer the Check for Understanding.
· The Check for Understanding is a short review of the content presented in the lesson.
